Miami and Fort Lauderdale

After spending some time in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale it seems to me that there are only two particular generations: The rich retired people and the forever partying students. From 8 am in the morning until early evening belongs to the first group. They know about relaxing at the beach, playing cards in the yard and fine dining, while the rest of the day (or night) goes to the second group. They know how to drink, drink, drink and party! (OK, it was spring break, so that's an excuse)
I didn't see anything special in particular there. The beach is nice, and sometimes you see models in their photo session. The entire street along the beach is filled with restaurants, some clubs (had no chance to get in, wrong clothes ) and a lot of traffic. I admit, I was a little tired when I was there. If I had tried a little harder I would probably have found out a little more about the cities and places. So all in all it was OK, but nothing special.
Well actually, there was one special thing: in those cities along he coast you find some very very very rich people here! The coastline is full with privat boats and cruises, none of them under $ 1.000.000. I admit... I was a little jealous!
