All good things come in threes.

Travel time: November / December 2011  |  by Konstanze G.

Bangkok

The city of angels - there we are again. I have hated Bangkok many years ago during my first visit to Thailand passionateley. Bangkok has now become my number 1. There is nothing like Bangkok in my oppinion.

Bangkok charms any visitor with very lovable chaos. Bangkok is huge, dirty, chaotic, a medley of everything.

Bangkok is Bangkok. Love it or hate it. There is nothing in between. Bangkok is great, full of constrast and nothing is impossible and certainly not in Bangkok.

Take a boat on the Chao Praya. Walk down old lanes in the "old city". Walk across the amulett market. Simply see and experience Bangkok. Bargain with a Tuk Tuk driver. Simply half the first offer and always be aware whatever you will pay will still be far to much. However a Tuk Tuk is a clever trasport option, should you not travel by boat in one of the numerous klongs. Tuk Tuks are fast and will ignore red traffic lights etc.

And now - Auf Wiedersehen - I have seen beautiful places, met interesting people and flying home a bitter sweet task.

However 3 days later after arrival, I have booked Kathmandu. Nepal hello - I will be travelling again soon in March 2012. And this time not China, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia etc.... but Nepal it is. Do something different, my credo.
