My first attempt to climb the Zugspitze

down
The rain had stopped during the night, but the morning started still grey and cloudy:
We had discussed the possibility of ascending to the top and take the cablecar down to save time.
But as it was still foggy we didn't know if the cablecar would be running that day. So we decided to descend to Ehrwald and hope to be able to leave the town.
We still had to go to Munich because Alexander had an appointment...
The summit of mount Daniel still in the clouds
The sun is coming through, conjuring an aura to the Zugspitze
we are beeing watched
a good source
When we finally came down to the car we saw the Zugspitze free of clouds and the cablecar was running
