3 Weeks Across Incredible India

Day 1 - 09. January 2009

At 10:25am my train from Rostock to Hamburg (Germany) departed and Deutsche Bahn had no delay and thanks to the new light railway connection to Hamburg Airport I was on the airport very early.

At 2:45pm my flight out of the bad weather started on time and with tail wind I arrived at Dubai Terminal 3 in less than 6 hours.

In Dubai I had 4 hours stopover and I tried to sleep but without any success.

Day 2 - 10. January 2009

At 4am I had my connecting flight from Dubai to Mumbai which took about 2.5 hours. After waiting for lagguage, getting a stamp into my passport and looking for an ATM I took a prepaid taxi. So I had my first trip into Mumbai City Center and I did not know where I should look first because there were so many people on the streets.
I asked to be dropped at Churchgate Station and then I explored the surrounding of Fort Area, Churchgate and Colaba by walking.

In the afternoon I went back to the Domestic Terminal for taking a discount flight to Cochin in Kerala. Scheduled departure time was 4:40pm but Go Air did not Go on Air on time but 2 hours delayed.
In the evening I arrived at Cochin Airport and my indian friends Saijo and Lijo were already there. Sorry Saijo and Lijo for waiting, I tried to inform you but my german sim card was not really working in Mumbai and my text message did not arrive.
