Ko Tao
Finally, we have to realize our trip is coming to an end. Though I long for some home food and it will be nice not to boil in your own sweat anymore, I am getting a bit melancholic about the good time we had here, and Ko Tao is one of the highlights that makes leaving even more difficult.
We just chose one of the many beaches of the islands by chance, had a rough ride here by offroad vehicles about something you could call a path or trail, but definitely not road. We were rewarded with one of the finest snorkeling beaches we had seen during our trip, with our own reef infront of our resort, bustling with marine life, plants, corals of all kinds and thousands of rainbow-coloured fish.
The surroundings were just a couple of resorts and restaurants, with no cars and no discos disturbing the silence and peace of the place. All the restaurants here had the same Bob Marley CD playing up and down the whole day, but that really added to the atmosphere here and made it a worthy finish.
We will definitely miss being on the road, and Ko Tao in particular. Now its back to Bangkok.
