Background infos: Our plan:
All started with a funny idea in Australia. What about to drive all the way home to our small hometown in germany with our own Australien car? We didn't want to go home straight after our 1,5 year-trip through Australia. So everything was build on this idea. There are a lot of really beautiful countries on the way to explore. We planned anyway to stop over in Asia. So why don't drive with the car?
We have a Nissan Pathfinder (OTQ 332 for Outback Terminator Queen). She's a 4wd and this is exactly the right kind of vehicle to travel with. Who knows how the street are? Probably really bad sometimes. And we can also reach places where no public transports are able to go.

Then we started to find out how much the idea would cost us. The cheapest offer was around 1500 A$ and we also need a "Carnet de Passage". That's like a passport for the car who will make it a lot easier to get the car through all the countries with a minimum of complex and expensive paperwork. It was a lot of work and even more problems to get everything organized. Just 30 min ago we got a message from the shipping agend that the customs in Australia have checked the car and it will be on the ship so we'll receive it on the 6th of January. We are so happy after all the stress. To get the shipping organized was not the problem. But to get this passport for the car.... Nobody knows a "Carnet de Passage" But there is one.
